Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and energetic Cashier / Sales Associate to join our showroom retail team featuring spas, saunas, pool tables, bar stools, darts, billiards, and more.. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, managing sales transactions, and assisting customers with product information and demonstrations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, retail experience, and a passion for creating a positive shopping experience. This position offers an engaging environment where you can develop your sales and customer service skills while supporting the daily operations of our showroom. Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or services within the showroom * Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges * Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits * Upsell additional products or services to enhance customer satisfaction and sales volume * Manage stock levels by merchandising displays, stocking shelves, and organizing inventory * Maintain clean and organized work areas, ensuring merchandise is properly displayed * Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform accurate cash handling procedures * Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries with professionalism and courtesy * Assist in phone etiquette for inquiries, reservations, or follow-up calls * Support supervisory staff with training new team members or supervising during peak hours when needed Skills * Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures * Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a grocery store or similar environment * Strong communication skills * Customer service orientation with a friendly demeanor and problem-solving skills * Ability to upsell products through effective product demos and suggestive selling techniques * Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and retail math for inventory management * Basic math skills for cashiering and transaction accuracy * Excellent phone etiquette for professional communication over the phone * Supervising experience is a plus for leadership opportunities within the team * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail This role is ideal for motivated individuals who enjoy working with people and thrive in a dynamic retail setting.
