Commercial Roofing Sales Representative Commercial | Multi-Family | Retail | Service | Full Replacements Position Overview Royalty Roofing is seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Roofing Sales Representative to drive revenue across commercial, multi-family, retail, and service markets. This role is responsible for identifying opportunities, building long-term client relationships, managing projects from lead through contract execution, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure quality delivery. The ideal candidate understands commercial roofing systems, values long-term relationships over transactional sales, and operates with professionalism, integrity, and accountability. This position plays a critical role in expanding market presence while protecting company standards and margins. Key Responsibilities Business Development & Sales Generate and manage sales opportunities across commercial, multi-family, retail, and service segments Prospect property managers, building owners, general contractors, asset managers, and developers * Identify and qualify repair, maintenance, reroof, and full replacement opportunities Conduct site visits, inspections, and client consultations * Present solutions aligned with client needs, budgets, and long-term asset performance *Estimating & Proposal Development * Perform roof inspections and basic diagnostics Coordinate takeoffs and estimates for service, repairs, and replacements * Develop clear, professional proposals and scopes of work * Ensure pricing aligns with company margin requirements * Assist with value-engineering when appropriate without compromising quality Client Relationship Management * Serve as primary point of contact for assigned accounts Build long-term relationships through trust, responsiveness, and follow-through * Manage client expectations from pre-sale through contract execution * Support repeat business, maintenance programs, and referrals *Project Coordination & Handoff Coordinate with project managers, service teams, and operations during project transitions * Participate in pre-construction meetings as needed * Support change order development and approval * Assist with job closeout documentation and customer satisfaction Administrative & Reporting * Maintain accurate CRM records (leads, estimates, contracts, and follow-ups) * Track pipeline, close rates, and revenue goals * Participate in sales meetings and performance reviews Required Qualifications * 3+ years of experience in commercial roofing sales, estimating, or construction sales * Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, PVC, metal, coatings, repairs) * Experience working with property managers, GCs, and ownership groups * Ability to read plans, specifications, and perform field evaluations * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Professional demeanor and client-first mindset * Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally Preferred Qualifications * Multi-family or portfolio account experience * Service and repair sales background with high-margin focus * CRM and estimating software experience (AccuLynx, Edge, or similar) * Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets *Compensation & Benefits * Competitive base salary plus commission structure * Commission opportunities across service, repairs, and full replacements * Performance incentives tied to margin and revenue * Company vehicle or vehicle allowance (if applicable) * tablet, and technology support dental, and retirement options (company-specific) * Long-term growth opportunities within a scaling commercial division What Success Looks Like * Consistent pipeline of qualified commercial and multi-family opportunities * Strong close rates with healthy margins High client retention and repeat business * Clean handoffs to operations with minimal issues * Upholding Royalty Roofing's standards for quality, professionalism, and trust Why Royalty Roofing Royalty Roofing is building a disciplined, relationship-driven commercial division focused on quality, accountability, and long-term partnerships.
