Business Development Manager 7er Construction | Omaha, NE About 7er Construction 7er Construction is a growing Omaha-based general contractor built on relationships, accountability, and doing what we say we'll do. Just solid work and solid people. The Role We're looking for a Business Development Manager who knows how to build trust, open doors, and create long-term client relationships, not just chase leads. This role is about connecting people, understanding client needs early, and working closely with our preconstruction and operations teams to turn relationships into well-run projects. What You 'll Do * Build and maintain relationships with owners, developers, architects, and partners * Identify and pursue new project opportunities aligned with 7er's strengths * Lead early conversations, lunches, coffees, and site walks to understand client needs * Coordinate closely with preconstruction and project teams during pursuits * Help shape pursuit strategy, interviews, and proposals (no boiler-plate fluff) * Represent 7er at industry events, networking functions, and client meetings * Track opportunities and relationships in a simple, practical CRM system What We 're Looking For * Proven experience in construction business development or relationship-driven sales * Strong local network (or the ability to build one quickly) * Comfortable talking construction, not just selling it * Organized, accountable, and consistent with follow-up * Professional, genuine, and not overly "salesy" * Experience with healthcare, education, or commercial construction is a plus Why 7er * Small, nimble GC where your work actually matters * Direct access to leadership, no layers of approval * Strong operations team that delivers on promises * Family-oriented culture with flexibility and trust * Competitive compensation with performance-based incentives * Opportunity to help shape the future growth of the company Compensation & Benefits * Base Salary Range: $85,000 - $105,000 based on experience * Performance Incentives: $15,000 - $25,000 * On-Target Earnings (OTE): $100,000 - $130,000+ * 401(k) - Helping you plan for a secure financial future. * Health, Vision, Dental benefits * Unlimited PTO and paid holidays * Profit-Sharing - Rewarding your contributions to our success * Flexible schedule * Company Phone * Supportive, team-first work environment Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Work Location: In person7er Construction
