POSITION SUMMARY The Business Development Lead is responsible for overseeing the firm's growth strategy by expanding client relationships, penetrating new markets, and driving revenue across all practice areas. This leader develops and executes a business development plan that strengthens the firm's market presence, builds long-term partnerships with senior executives, and positions the firm as a trusted advisor in talent acquisition solutions. The role works closely with the Managing Partner and Senior Partners to ensure scalable growth. RESPONSIBILITIES * Develop and implement the firm's business development strategy across targeted industries and practice areas * Build a multi-year growth roadmap with clear revenue targets and measurable outcomes * Identify, evaluate, and prioritize new markets, segments, and partnership opportunities * Manage the firm's business development pipeline, ensuring forecasting accuracy, pipeline management, and consistent follow-up * Lead sourcing, data management and outreach to initiate high-value strategic partnerships * Manage the refinement of tailored value propositions, proposals, and pitch presentations * Attend conferences, networking events, and client meetings to elevate the firm's visibility and credibility, while representing the organization at industry events, conferences, and external partner meetings * Partner with recruiting and research teams to ensure seamless handoff and consistent client experience * Champion a high-performance culture rooted in accountability, relationship management, and continuous improvement QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor's degree required * Over five years of progressive business development experience, ideally within executive search, professional services, consulting, or talent advisory. * Strong track record of sourcing, developing, and closing high-value professional services engagements. * Demonstrated success building relationships and closing complex deals with C-suite leaders, boards, and private equity partners * Strong financial acumen, analytical thinking, and strategic planning capability.
