Position Overview We're seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative who will be the face of Florida Solar & Roof Contracting in the field. In this role, you will engage with homeowners, identify their roofing or solar needs, provide solutions, and guide prospects from initial contact through to Project acceptance. You will work closely with our operations team to ensure a smooth hand-off from sale to installation. Key Responsibilities * Conduct face-to-face sales meetings at homeowner properties to assess roof condition, solar potential, and insurance opportunities. * Educate homeowners about roofing options, warranties, and financing alternatives. * Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads through prospecting (cold calls, door-to-door canvassing, neighborhood outreach, events), referrals and follow-up. * Prepare and present proposals, clearly articulating value, scope of work, timelines, and pricing for roofing and solar systems. * Coordinate with internal teams (estimating, installation, production) to ensure accurate scope, scheduling, and customer satisfaction. * Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets; manage your territory with discipline and focus. * Maintain detailed records in CRM, follow-up consistently, and provide timely status updates to your manager. * Build and maintain positive relationships in the local market, including with insurance adjusters, property managers, and community stakeholders. * Uphold the company's standards of professionalism, safety and customer care at all times. Qualifications * Proven outside sales experience in roofing, home improvement, solar, insurance reconstruction, or related service industries. * Demonstrated ability to sell high-value home improvement projects. * Comfortable working independently in the field, managing your territory, schedule and pipeline. * Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. * Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills; ability to engage homeowners and win trust. * Willingness to climb ladders or inspect roofs in order to assess condition (or coordinate with field staff). * Willingness to Canvass (door-to-door) for leads. * Selfmotivated, goal-oriented with a high work ethic and desire to grow. * Familiarity with Florida homeowner insurance claims.
