As a First Waterworks Outside Sales Representative , you will be responsible for prospecting for new contractor customers while maintaining business relationships with existing customers. Responsibilities: * Identify, develop and maintain relationships with an assigned and new customer base, including key accounts, insuring their satisfaction with our products and a Best-In-Class Customer Experience * Prepare and submit oral and written material quotations * Identify customer product needs and coordinate execution of orders with other departments * Participate in trade associations, customer functions and local business community affairs related to First Waterworks business * Monitor sales trends and product performance results * Continually enhance sales skills and product knowledge to promote a professional image in the field * Other duties/responsibilities as assigned by the Regional Sales Manager /General Manager Qualifications: * 2-5 years of related experience in trade field * BS/BA in a related discipline is preferred * Knowledge of waterworks products and customers * Mathematical aptitude necessary for price quotations and margin production * Extensive travel required within local territory * Computer knowledge and skills with the ability to learn First Supply LLC's business system * Effective Social and negotiation skills First Supply, family-owned and operated for over 125 years, offers its employees a great benefits package including; medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, PTO, company paid holidays, on demand pay, education assistance, adoption assistance, and more! * About First Supply First Supply is a leading main channel wholesale distributor, providing industrial customers and building contractors with an extensive line of products and services.
