Position Overview The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities within the commercial restoration market. Rebuilders Group primarily focuses on restoring buildings that are three stories and taller. The ideal candidate will bring industry-specific sales experience , demonstrate a strong ability to build long-term relationships with key decision-makers, and manage the sales process from initial contact through contract execution and post-award engagement. This position offers a base salary plus commission structure on any closed contracts. Higher earners in this industry can easily make $250k-450k+ a year. Compensation is aligned with performance and industry standards. Key Responsibilities * Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including: * Direct-to-owner relationships * Engineers and consultants * Hospitality and commercial property groups * Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and industry partners * Attend company networking and industry events as required (may include evenings or weekends) * Travel as needed to support business development efforts * Maintain consistent follow-up with existing clients to ensure continued engagement * Assist the estimating team with building measurements as required * Support preparation of presentations for project interviews * Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to strengthen market presence Required Skills: * Strong written and verbal communication skills (phone, email, and in person) * Alignment with company core values and professional standards * Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office products * Ability to read and interpret engineering and construction documents for bid proposals Preferred Experience: * 3 -5 years of experience in commercial restoration or waterproofing * Proven track record of successful sales in a technical or construction-related environment Compensation & Benefits: * Base salary range: $70,000 -$85,000, plus commission * Auto allowance * Phone allowance * 401(k) with company match * Medical and dental healthcare benefits * Opportunities for professional growth and advancement * Family-owned, locally operated business environment Job Type: Full-time Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Work Location: In person
