DESCRIPTION Job Title: Sales Associate Reports to: District Manager COMPANY OVERVIEW: YogaSix believes everyone deserves the mind-body experience of yoga. YogaSix offers six different class types designed to accommodate students of all levels in a way that is energizing, empowering, and fun. YogaSix was established in 2012 and is the fastest growing boutique yoga company in the United States. POSITION: The Front Desk Sales Associate is most often the first and last point of contact for current students as well prospective students. The best Front Desk Sales Associates are friendly, outgoing and CURIOUS individuals who are dedicated to learning about the students' that the studio serves. This curiosity allows them the ability to make expert format, membership/package, and retail recommendations based on the student's goals. Additionally, they ensure the studio is a clean and inviting space. We are hiring a part-time role (2-3 shifts per week totaling approximately 12-18 hours per week) that requires availability from 4 pm - 9 pm on weeknights and 6:45 am - 2:00 pm on weekends. DUTIES: New Member Acquisition and Retention : A successful studio depends on supporting prospective students through the following life cycle: * Booking Appointments * Contacting leads in a timely manner to establish relationship and get them booked in for a class experience * Properly documenting all interactions with guests Studio Tours & Education * Be knowledgeable about products, programs and pricing * Conduct studio tours with new prospects to build rapport to facilitate sales Membership Sales * A studio (yes, even a yoga studio) is a business. Following a successful initial class experience, Front Desk Sales Associates present the best membership or class package option based on the student's goals and properly document all interactions with the student * Meet and exceed sales goals as established by the District Manager Retention * Ensure new members are onboarded properly * Assists with maintaining a clean, safe and inviting environment Studio Operations & Promotion * Assists with maintaining a clean, safe and inviting environment * Participate in grassroots/community events (health fairs, grand openings, marathons, and community and hospital events) to promote the studio * Other tasks as requested by management JOB REQUIREMENTS: Communication & People Skills * Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone and via email * Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients and the general public * Strong customer service skills * Strong phone skills Driven & Eager to Learn * Goal-oriented with an ability to achieve sales targets * Ability to learn and use the studio software system * Must have proficient computer skills * Attend special events and trainings as needed Critical Thinking * Ability to excel in a fast changing, diverse environment, using sound judgment PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS * The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job * May be required to sit or stand for up to four hours at a time. May be required to reach with hands and arms. Must be able to bend, lift, kneel, and drive a car. Sales Associates are able to promote their sales skills, impact in marketing and the lead generation process, operations, and client care.
