Full description of the position
Family owned automotive group is seeking an experienced Automotive Pre-Owned Sales Manager to join our team. Duties include but are not limited to: * Oversee the operations of the used car department. * Manage and lead a team of salespeople and support staff. * Develop and implement effective marketing and advertising campaigns to attract customers. * Conduct market research to stay informed about current trends and pricing in the used car market. * Evaluate trade-in vehicles and determine their value for resale. * Negotiate with customers to finalize sales and ensure customer satisfaction. * Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify areas for improvement. * Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations. Desired Qualifications: * Minimum of 7 years pre-owned management experience. * Strong leadership skills - to be able to train, motivate and guide a team. * Excellent organizational and time management skills. * Experience in inventory control. * Proven track record in sales, with the ability to cold call and close deals. * Knowledge of the used car market and industry trends. * Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
