Full description of the position
We are seeking a highly motivated, outgoing and customer service-oriented Business Development Manager/Territory Sales to drive growth and market position for RestoPros of Milwaukee. In this role, you will help build a partnership program from the ground up with local businesses and professionals who can refer water damage work to us. To do so, you will organize outreach and marketing events that include breakfast, lunch, raffles, outings, and make visits to businesses. The relationships you build will allow our revenue and your compensation to grow. * Are you a people person who can build and maintain relationships with a variety of people? * Are you an honest, hardworking, independent, motivated person with a good attitude who seeks a career in business development and outside sales? * Do you prefer to be out in the field rather than sitting in front of a computer? * Can you effectively communicate value propositions to business owners? If so, then we look forward to meeting you! We pay a salary and uncapped commission and bonuses, and you will also have the opportunity to advance into other management roles. Responsibilities: * Travel throughout the Greater Milwaukee area. * Identify potential referral sources and trade professionals to establish and grow partnerships. * Set revenue targets and develop and execute a strategy to meet them. * Understand the problems and challenges of our referral partners and address their needs. * Resolve any relationship issues or problems promptly and professionally. * Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities. * Manage sales cycle in CRM tools. Qualifications: * Experience in outside/territory sales or customer service roles preferred. * Ability to build, foster, and maintain strong business relationships. * Positive attitude and demeanor. * Uncompromising honesty and integrity. * Strong work ethic and high level of professionalism and customer service. * Excellent interpersonal communication skills. * Problem-solving and conflict resolution capabilities. * Existing relationships with trade professionals such as plumbers would be a plus. * Knowledge/experience in plumbing/HVAC/restoration/construction would be a plus. * Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally. * Clean criminal history and driving record. * Willingness to undergo a background check and driving record check.
