Full description of the position
The Sales Optimization Specialist is responsible for improving and implementing the core processes which drive sales effectiveness and efficiency. This role sits directly within the sales workflow--processing quotes, supporting customer requests, managing market intelligence, and ensuring pricing accuracy. The Sales Optimization Specialist works hands-on with the sales team to streamline operations, speed up customer response times, and enhance the accuracy and competitiveness of pricing strategies. Essential Job Functions: * Improve and streamline sales operations workflows including customer quotations and market intelligence, with a focus on speed, accuracy, and internal consistency. * Provide customers with accurate and timely price quotations. * Process inbound customer orders and communicate and confirm with customers in a timely manner. * Identify inefficiencies and propose solutions to enhance productivity and responsiveness. * Work closely with sales leadership to refine quoting, communication, and order processing procedures. * Process customer quotes quickly and accurately, ensuring correct pricing, product data, and availability. * Ensure quotes reflect current market conditions, customer requirements, and internal objectives. * Ensure sales has access to the most current pricing, market data, and competitive information. * Help refine how pricing is determined--leveraging available market insights and analytics. * Support sales team members by providing updated data, pricing support, and market insights. * Use analytical tools to support pricing accuracy, quote improvement, and market understanding. * Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements: * 2-5 years of experience in sales operations, sales support, pricing, analytics, or a similar role. * Strong analytical mindset with comfort working with numbers and market data. * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. * Excellent communication and organizational skills. * Experience in aviation, aftermarket sales, or technical products is a plus (not required). Physical and Work Condition Requirements: * This job may have physical requirements that are considered sedentary work.
