Director of Sales Mechanicsburg, PA Courtyard is currently seeking an experienced, full-time Director of Sales to join our team in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania! What we can offer YOU: * Dental insurance * Vision insurance * Pay: Dependent on experience The right candidate will have: * 3+ years of past sales experience in a hotel setting * Knowledge of hotel operations * Knowledge of Microsoft Word; Excel; Outlook and experience with hotel reservation and revenue management systems * Ability to complete in-person sales visits to clients * Understanding of how to improve local negotiated account business Our Director of Sales will: * Analyze market and accordingly create marketing plan to drive group business and ADR * Work to ensure property reaches budget/revenue goals * Articulate sales performance to corporate office and general manager * Communicate effectively to staff on sales clients, groups, VIP guests, etc. * Call new prospects drive business new and repeat business * Solicit, negotiate and book new and repeat business through various efforts * Develop and continually enhance relationships with key accounts to maintain and increase our market share * Maintain consistent and timely verbal and written communication with clients * Assist in developing an annual sales and marketing plan * Identify marketing strategy for each market segment * Analyze historical, current and future hotel trends, and market trends * Create selling strategies to capture the maximum amount of revenue to meet/exceed sales goals.
