Responsibilities * Lead and motivate the used car sales team to meet and exceed sales goals through effective coaching, training, and performance management * Manage the entire sales pipeline, from prospecting and cold calling to closing deals, ensuring a steady flow of high-quality leads * Oversee inventory control and management to maintain an optimal selection of vehicles that appeal to diverse customer needs and preferences * Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract B2B (business-to-business) clients and retail customers alike, expanding dealership reach * Utilize CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software to track customer interactions, follow-ups, and sales activities for maximum efficiency * Conduct negotiations with customers, ensuring high-end sales are achieved while upholding dealership policies and customer satisfaction * Support upselling efforts by identifying additional vehicle features or services that enhance value for customers * Maintain excellent phone etiquette, public speaking skills, and communication skills to foster positive relationships with clients and prospects * Collaborate with the marketing team to promote inventory through various channels, including digital campaigns and community outreach * Ensure compliance with all dealership policies, local regulations, and safety standards related to inventory management and sales processes Experience * Proven experience in automobile sales or dealership management with a strong track record of achieving sales targets * Demonstrated expertise in used car inventory management, retail math, and inventory control techniques * Strong background in outside sales, B2B sales, outbound calling, and cold calling strategies * Excellent negotiation skills coupled with the ability to upsell effectively while maintaining high customer satisfaction levels * Familiarity with CRM software platforms used in automotive retail environments * Experience in retail sales environments with a focus on high-end vehicles or luxury automobiles preferred * Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for engaging diverse customer bases * Exceptional organizational skills paired with public speaking abilities for presentations or dealership events * Strong communication skills complemented by professional phone etiquette and customer service excellence Join us as a Used Car Manager where your leadership will drive success!
