About the Role The Pool Renovations Sales Specialist is responsible for driving revenue growth through the sale of residential pool renovation projects. This role combines technical pool knowledge, customer consultation, and project coordination to deliver renovation solutions that meet client needs, budgets, and timelines. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in pool systems and renovation options, confident in customer-facing conversations, and able to manage multiple opportunities from initial inquiry through contract execution. Key Responsibilities * Generate and manage sales opportunities for pool renovation projects, including remodels, upgrades, and equipment replacements. * Meet with customers to assess existing pools, identify renovation needs, and recommend appropriate solutions. * Develop accurate renovation proposals, estimates, and scopes of work based on site evaluations and customer goals. * Educate customers on renovation options, materials, timelines, and costs to support informed decision-making. * Present proposals, negotiate terms, and close renovation sales. * Collaborate with operations, estimating, and project management teams to ensure smooth handoff after contract execution. * Maintain ongoing communication with customers throughout the pre-construction process. * Follow up on completed projects to ensure customer satisfaction and identify referral or upsell opportunities. * Represent the company professionally at all times and uphold company standards and values. Required Skills & Experience * 2-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in pool renovations, construction, home improvement, or a related trade. * Strong understanding of pool systems, construction methods, and renovation processes (or the ability to learn quickly). * Proven ability to consult with customers, identify needs, and close sales. * Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. * Ability to manage multiple opportunities while staying organized and detail-oriented. * Comfortable working independently in the field and collaborating with internal teams. * Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Preferred Qualifications * Prior experience in pool renovations or pool construction. * Knowledge of pool equipment, finishes, decking, and automation systems. * Experience working with CRM software and estimating tools. * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage customer expectations. * Results-driven mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction. Work Environment & Expectations * Combination of field work (site visits, customer meetings) and office/remote work. * May require evening or weekend appointments based on customer availability. * Use of a company vehicle may be provided, subject to company policy.
