Outside Sales - Pontiac Area LS Building Products is a private, locally owned company, with distribution locations throughout the Greater Central Illinois Region. Our goal at LS Building Products is to be the premier distributor of building materials in our markets, and to provide superior customer service and professional support to those we serve. Our outside sales team is an integral part of identifying and bringing on new customers and providing superior service to our existing customers. Responsibilities: Develop effective sales strategies to meet personal and branch sales goals Evaluate the needs of current and potential customers and provide recommendations and product training Prepare accurate and timely material estimates Handle customer questions, complaints, and concerns in a manner consistent with LS' high customer service standards Help resolve customer billing/account issues Applicant Requirements Excellent verbal and written communication skills Effective time management and planning skills Self-starter, able to work under minimal supervision Strong problem solving skills High level customer service and interpersonal skills Ability to travel as required (current & valid drivers license with a good driving record) Preferred by not required Experience in the building materials industry Pay/Benefits: $60,000 base pay, commissions potential of $100,000+ Vehicle Allowance 401(k) with matching (after one year) Health Insurance (quality coverage with low single and family premiums) Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Paid Time Off Holiday Pay Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $60,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Work Location: In person
