Job Overview Mood Swing Wellness is hiring a Part-Time Assistant Manager to help lead day- to-day operations at our recovery and wellness studio. This role is ideal for someone who's reliable, organized, and great with people--someone who can keep the studio running smoothly while delivering an excellent client experience. You'll support the mission by helping manage shifts, guiding the team, handling client needs, and keeping the facility clean, stocked, and operating at a high standard. Key Responsibilities - Support daily operations including opening/closing routines and keeping appointments running on time - Lead the team during shifts: assign tasks, maintain standards, and ensure smooth transitions - Deliver a top-tier client experience: greet clients, answer questions, and help guide them through services - Handle client questions, concerns, and feedback with professionalism and care - Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the studio (service rooms, towels, supplies, front desk area) - Assist with inventory tracking, restocking, and basic supply organization - Support hiring by helping screen candidates, participating in interviews, and assisting with onboarding/training - Assist with payments, cash handling, point-of-sale checkout, memberships/packages, and basic reporting - Help execute in-studio promotions and local marketing/community efforts - Ensure compliance with studio policies, health & safety standards, waivers, and sanitation procedures - Identify issues early (scheduling gaps, client flow, equipment concerns) and communicate solutions Qualifications - Leadership or shift-lead experience in a client-facing environment (wellness, fitness, hospitality, retail, or similar) - Strong communication skills (in person, phone, text, and email) - Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills - Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast- paced setting - Comfortable using basic software and systems for scheduling, payments, and reporting - Ability to coach and support team members with a positive, team-first attitude - Basic comfort with numbers: cash handling, simple reporting, inventory counts Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $18.00 per hour Benefits: * Employee discount * Flexible schedule Work Location: In person
