CBG, Inc. is seeking an experienced and motivated Trucking Sales Manager to pursue, develop, and secure hauling work throughout South Carolina, with a strong emphasis on the Columbia and Beaufort markets. This position will be based in Columbia, SC, and will require some travel to support customer relationships and project development. Job Description The Trucking Sales Manager will be responsible for developing new business and maintaining customer relationships related to hauling services, including: * Tri-Axle and Dump Trailer-Dirt, aggregate, and construction material hauling * Lowboy-Hauling of heavy equipment * Flatbed- Hauling of construction material and pipe This role focuses on developing relationships with contractors, project managers, and material suppliers to provide reliable hauling services for dirt, aggregate, base material, asphalt, construction debris, equipment, and construction materials. Responsibilities * Pursue, develop, and secure hauling contracts throughout South Carolina * Target civil construction, grading, and site development projects * Actively selling services including tri-axles, dump trailers, lowboy, and flatbed transportation * Build and maintain relationships with general contractors, site developers, and material suppliers * Identify upcoming projects requiring hauling services and position the company as a preferred provider * Monitor local construction activity and bid lettings Preferred Qualifications * Sales experience preferred (construction, trucking, or related industry strongly preferred) * Understanding of civil construction, grading, and site development * Knowledge of hauling operations, equipment transport, or construction logistics is a plus * Strong communication and relationship-building skills * Self-motivated with the ability to work independently * Willingness to travel within South Carolina * Valid driver's license Compensation and Benefits * Salary based on experience and other qualifications * Company truck * Employee retirement savings plan * Paid vacation * Paid holidays * Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week Benefits: * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Experience: * Sales: 2 years (Required) License/Certification: * CDL License (Required) Work Location: Hybrid remote in Gaston, SC 29053
