Organization: SHSO-Sutter Health System Office-Bay Position Overview: Responsible for promoting and selling Sutter Employer Program portfolio and the Sutter Health Network to employers, payers, brokers and employee populations in assigned book-of-business to achieve patient growth, revenue and margin targets through effective sales activities. Generates leads and referrals; focused on converting these opportunities to support new patient growth and program enrollments. This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco with some travel between the East Bay, Silicon Valley and Sacramento. Job Description : Job Description : EDUCATION Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma. * Bachelor's: Marketing, Finance, Business Administration or related field or equivalent education/experience PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN: * 5 years experience in the health insurance or employee benefit industry and sales. * 5 years experience in the health care industry. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE * Must have a broad working understanding of employer benefit/group health program design, business data and contact manager databases, healthcare, and employer health care needs and issues. * Sufficient understanding of the demographic composition and geographic disbursement of the eligible population to implement successful system-wide and area-specific marketing and sales strategies. * Proven ability to implement successful strategic initiatives that adapt to changing market environments that support broker retention and community relations. * Expertise in being able to execute on designed plans and strategies that will enable growth of Sutter products and services. * Collaboration and teamwork skills are critical to the success of this position. * Expertise in communication, public speaking, project management and negotiation skills are required. * Must be skilled in relationship building. * Must have effective computer skills, including use of word processing, spreadsheet and presentation programs.
