The family owning this location has over six decades of experience in the retail shoe business with operations in Arkansas, Mississippi, and Texas. Job Description * Promote and support the high-quality Red Wing brand image through professional selling. * Enter customer information and sales, process payments, balance cash drawer and daily reporting * Measure and fit every customer properly as part of our "Ultimate Fit Experience" * Explain product features and benefits, as well as technical specifications. You can view a short video of the process here: [please apply online] * Practice industrial sales lead development on the fitting stool * Very employee friendly store hours & pace. We are open 9-6 Mon-Fri, 10-5 Sat, and 1-5 on Sundays. Closed on major holidays and have a relatively slower paced work day when compared to many retail environments. * We are looking to fill 20-30 hour per week position. Consideration will be given to candidates with strong qualifications that have a need for employment. * Must be able to work weekends Qualifications * High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, and 1-2 years related experience/training. * Team and collaboration orientation * Results oriented * Effective Written/Verbal Communication * Computer Utilization * Retail footwear and/or wholesale experience * Desire for long term employment (with a past employment history that supports that) Physical Demands * Lifting 50 pounds, bending, lacing shoes, and climbing a ladder. * Housekeeping duties including but not limited to vacuuming, mopping floors, washing windows and setting up and maintaining displays Compensation * $13 Hourly base rate (higher based on qualifications) * Monthly Sales Commissions will boost base rate We are looking forward to you joining our team!
