The successful candidate will have served in a related insurance industry role in which he or she cultivated a pool of prospective clients through referrals, networking, cold calls, marketing initiatives, and other proactive sales strategies. Compensation: $121,000 - $143,000 yearly Responsibilities: * Ensure bookkeeping systems, sales databases, and customer records are maintained to report progress toward monthly initiatives to stakeholders * Listen attentively to new and potential clients, evaluate their needs and their financial statuses, and propose ideal plan options for their unique circumstances and insurance needs * Implement sales strategies and tactics proven effective in maintaining and growing existing customer portfolios comprised of loyal, long-term clients * Remain updated on insurance industry changes and protocols to fulfill all policy requirements and monitor insurance claims from start to finish * Create tailored risk management strategies directly with clients that align with their risk profiles Qualifications: * Experience with accounting and or sales lead software is a plus * Demonstrated comprehension of the insurance industry, insurance products, risk management profiles, and associated state and federal regulations * Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma required * Excellent communication, customer service, analytical, and interpersonal skills are necessary * Candidates should have basic computer skills and be able to use Microsoft Office programs About Company Sherrill Insurance Agency partners with Fortune 500 and Fortune 100 companies to market and sell their products.
