Fairview Wedding & Events is looking to add that next budding superstar to our team! We have 7 locations currently in California and are still growing! We need a full-time Wedding Sales Coordinator to join our Metropolitan location in Oakland. This location performs over 200 weddings and events per year so if you are looking for a fun and active work environment this place is for you. Sales training and event management training will be provided so if you have the passion but may lack some of the experience do not hesitate to make contact. Job Description: * Providing a consultative sales approach, allowing brides and grooms the opportunity to plan a uniquely perfect day to meet their dreams * Guide prospective brides on a property tour, answering questions and addressing concerns * Write contracts and proposals following solicitation of customers to formally document oral agreements and terms. * Maintain communication with clients in-order to ensure that signed contracts, deposits and any other pertinent information is received and handled in a timely manner * Available to work evenings and weekends in support of events hosted by Fairview Weddings & Events. Candidate we are looking for will have: * Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills * A genuine interest in weddings and planning a unique wedding day * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Spanish Speaking a Plus * Good knowledge about event management skills. * Has high computer literacy to use PC (MS Word, Excel, required) We use Salesforce software. * High organizational, supervisory and managerial skills * Experience in a similar sales or service position preferred * Strong planning and organizational skills to effectively coordinate and manage all size events. Total Compensation: $50,000 - $55,000 per year (approximate) * $23-$25 per hour * Average of 3-5 hours of overtime per week * $5,000 - $7,000 commission potential Benefits: Medical, Dental and Vision insurance plans available after 60 days of employment in the following month.
