About Skid Pro Attachments: Skid Pro is a private equity-backed leading attachment company in the skid loader market, recently formed from the merger of Skid Pro and Accessories Unlimited (Detroit Lakes, MN). Skid Pro is uniquely positioned in this growing market as a leader in the direct-to-consumer go-to-market strategy. Location: Alexandria, MN Type: Full-time in office. The Role: We are looking for an experienced senior sales executive to lead our inside, direct-to-consumer growing sales team. This person will be very involved in daily operations and will provide excellent leadership to over 30 salespeople and support staff. Currently, this role is held by one of the founders, but we are implementing a succession plan. As part of this plan, you will eventually take full responsibility for the sales organization, with the founder acting as an advisor. You will also become a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, helping to shape the company's strategic direction and regularly engaging with our private equity owners. Responsibilities: * Sales Team Leadership: Manage and lead the direct-to-consumer sales team to boost revenue and increase overall profitability. A primary responsibility is ensuring compliance with our sales process and developing product training and sales tools to provide an industry-leading customer experience. * Sales Training: Develop sales training tools to enhance the performance of the sales team. * Performance Management: Ensure the sales team consistently performs at a high level aligned with the company's overall strategic goals. Lead sales hiring processes to support revenue growth plans. Active involvement in establishing individual and team KPIs and driving accountability to those metrics. * Forecasting and Demand Planning: Collaborate with the organization to support the sales, inventory, and operations planning process (SIOP). * Market and Competitive Feedback: Provide essential market and competitive insights to the organization to inform our strategic planning. * Pricing and Promotional Strategy: Develop and implement effective pricing plans to maximize profits and grow market share. Collaborate with marketing to design and manage promotional campaigns that drive product adoption and sales. * Sales Strategy Development: Work with the Senior Leadership Team and marketing department to create effective sales tools, product training resources, and go-to-market strategies. * Company Strategic Direction: Become a key member of the Senior Leadership Team to help shape the company's strategic direction. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field. An MBA is a plus. * Ten years of experience in executive sales leadership, with a significant portion of this experience in direct-to-consumer sales. * Proven track record of profitable sales revenue growth. * Possesses strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. * High proficiency in information systems/platforms such as HubSpot, as well as Microsoft Excel. Working knowledge of NetSuite and Global Shop is a plus. * Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. * Proven ability to work independently and handle multiple projects at the same time. * Proven ability to collaborate effectively and advance projects across different departments within the company. * Experience in the construction equipment industry is advantageous. * Preference for candidates currently located in the Midwest. Compensation: Competitive, market-based plan consisting of a salary plus an incentive plan tied to revenue targets and company profitability. The expected total compensation range is $175K-$300K.
