Full description of the position

*Real Estate Lead plays a critical role in managing technical real estate portfolio to ensure long-term capacity that supports revenue growth and future access to increasing power in each major market. *Position combines strategic planning and hands-on execution, including site acquisition and lease negotiations. The ideal candidate has deep experience in managing large-scale real estate portfolios, preferably in telecom, with a focus on space and power requirements. Key Responsibilities: * Work with planning teams to identify strategic technical real estate locations in each major market to secure owner economics and future access to increase power * Negotiate long term leases or purchases as the key point of contact for ongoing commercial dialogue with brokers, landlords, and property managers * Lead on renewals, footprint expansions and reductions, relocations, site acquisitions, and any other real estate activity as required * Manage brokerage relationships and manage third party vendor relationships * Identification and financial evaluation of new builds, site purchases, and new leases in various US and international markets; including negotiation and execution of leases, purchase agreements, and evaluation of complex expansion models to accommodate requirement * Real Estate point person on business cases, with full financial projections and alternative analyses, to secure internal (executive, CEO, Board of Director) approval for transactions * Support and leadership of real estate due diligence during site acquisition activity, including commercial lead on purchase agreements, title transfer, environmental and other property testing, etc. * Ongoing scanning of existing real estate portfolios to determine areas of potential cost optimization by virtue of right-sizing space, lease terminations, etc. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor's degree in finance, Business, or related field * 5-8 years of experience in technical real estate transactions; telecom industry preferred * Strong financial and analytical skills with ability to build complex models * Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills * High attention to detail and ability manage multiple proprieties in a fast-paced environment * Collaborative mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability Job Type: Contract Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Health insurance Work Location: Remote
