To learn more about City Carpets Carpet One Floor & Home check out: [please apply online] What We Offer: * Base salary: $4,000/monthly + Commission (draw against commission) * * Earning potential of $70K to $200K annually * Full Time: 40 hrs./5-day work week* _(Monday - Saturday)_ * * Must be able to work a minimum of 2 Saturdays per month * 90 day paid training * Flexible Scheduling * Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance * Retirement Plan w/up to 3% company contribution * Paid Vacation, Sick Time & Time Off * Employee discounts on products & services * Potential for growth within organization * Weekly sales & product knowledge meetings * Evening workshops & networking events * Team appreciation celebrations & team building activities Responsibilities: * Provide outstanding service to determine overall flooring & design needs * Build strong client relationships & follow up with all new/existing customers * Schedule appointments to have client design consultations within the showroom or their home * Keep up to date on the selection of products & services provided * Gather space/area measurements, calculate number of materials needed, create/present project proposals for client approval, schedule the installation team, collect client's payments & perform quality control throughout project * Communicate with vendors to determine product specifications, availability & ordering materials for active projects * Use social media to create network groups * Manage time between the showroom & prospecting for new business * Maintain showroom by keeping samples, displays & common areas neat, current & clean Desired Skills & Qualifications: * Minimum of 2-4 years' proven work experience in Retail Sales, Furniture Sales, Interior Design, Construction or similar role. * Able to pass a background check (REQUIRED) * Valid driver's license & reliable transportation (REQUIRED) * Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite * Basic computer, social media & math skills * Proper phone etiquette & positive attitude * Desire to grow a business & can work independently * Ability to utilize various forms of communication to follow up with vendors & clients * Exceptional critical thinking & problem-solving abilities * Strong personal, professional judgment & appearance * Ability to respond quickly to customers' needs & wants * Strong organizational skills & the flexibility to jump from priority to priority * Advanced time management skills & detailed oriented * Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills * Ability to read floor plan drawings & create project estimates a plus (Willing to train) * Knowledge of flooring & design industry a plus (Willing to train) * Knowledge of RFMS a plus (Willing to train) How to Apply : * Use the response option in this job board * Attach an up-to-date resume outlining your experience for the position * A cover letter is always appreciated * No emails orphone calls to the showroom * Do not personally deliver resumes to the showroom *Qualified candidates will be contacted by email to schedule a phone interview City Carpets Carpet One Floor and Home is an Equal Opportunity Employer
