Due to our continued growth, we have an opportunity for a motivated Technical Sales Representative at our office situated in Windsor, Maine. Job Description A Technical Sales Representative at Air Control Industries is vital to our goal of facilitating customer success by allowing smooth transition through our sales process by designing, implementing and supplying a solution to suit the needs of our varied customer base. This important role demands a person who is comfortable with problem solving, negotiating, relationship building and most importantly, commitment to the task. We are looking for a person who is driven by goals and self-sustained growth to work hand in hand with our in-house training and support network. A candidate would be considered successful in this position by not only the maintenance, but continued growth of their order book by efforts including research, outreach and customer interaction through phone call, email, online meetings and in person conversations. Responsibilities and expectations that will prove essential to this role cover a wide range, but key factors are outlined below: Achieving personal sales goals - this encompasses the full range of researching a company/industry, sourcing opportunities (supplemented by inbound leads), presenting a suitable problem-solving option from our product range and closing the deal with our business partners Solution design - working closely with both the end user and our internal teams of engineers, the candidate will act as the project lead in regard to quoting, presenting and explaining our products and solutions to a wide array of customer bases CRM system upkeep - Efficiently and effectively using our CRM system to keep accurate customer & deal data to ensure timely responses and care for all customer project needs Managing your time - being available for our customers is of key importance to the Technical Sales Representative role, making sure that you can keep track of active jobs while having availability for new projects is a key skill that plays a huge part in success Customer service - as well as being available, providing exceptional customer service through the entire sales process is key to retaining our reputation as an industry leader. This includes technical support, after sales care and project transparency with all clients Job Type Full-Time office-based position (Mon-Fri) Base pay ($40,000 per year) plus un-capped monthly commission pay structure with sliding scale for hitting consistent targets First year pay range typically $55,000-$75,000. Specific customers / accounts are developed with time to increase commission rates.
