About Us We're a growing Managed Services Provider (MSP) based in Vernon Hills, IL, delivering IT support, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, and strategic consulting to businesses. With steady growth, a solid client base, and a high- performing team, we're ready to level up our sales operation -- and we're looking for the right leader to drive it. Position Overview We are seeking a driven, hands-on IT Sales Director to lead our sales function. This role combines sales leadership , direct selling , lead generation strategy , and deal management. It's ideal for someone who can both manage a team and personally bring in new business. You'll oversee and coach two sales reps, manage the sales pipeline, create and approve proposals, and take ownership of building and executing strategies to generate new leads and drive revenue growth. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Sales Strategy * Lead, coach, and manage two inside sales representatives * Set monthly and quarterly sales goals and track performance metrics * Develop and implement your own lead generation strategies and outbound initiatives * Build, document, and refine sales processes and playbooks Direct Sales & Client Engagement * Personally close new MRR deals and strategic opportunities * Qualify and engage with inbound leads and self-generated prospects * Attend discovery calls, virtual or in-person meetings, and client presentations * Drive account growth through upsells and expansion opportunities Proposal & Deal Management * Learn and understand our service offerings and quoting tools * Create and manage proposals using our internal systems * Approve all proposals and quotes submitted by the sales team * Ensure deal pricing aligns with business goals and margin requirements Tools & Systems * Use CRM and internal tools to track pipeline and reporting * Recommend improvements to sales technology stack and reporting Qualifications * 5+ years in B2B IT sales, with 2+ years in a leadership role * Experience in the MSP or IT services industry required * Strong understanding of recurring revenue models (MRR) * Proven ability to close deals and lead a high-performing sales team * Entrepreneurial mindset with experience in outbound sales or lead generation strategy * Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills * Familiarity with proposal software, quoting tools, and CRMs (HubSpot, Connectwise, Zoom Info, etc.) Benefits * Base salary + Commission + Bonus * Health Insurance, Dental, Vision, * 401k * PTO * Holiday Pay * More...
