Position Overview We are seeking a confident, personable, and knowledgeable Retail Sales Associate (Tobacconist) to assist guests with cigar selections and retail purchases. This role is ideal for someone passionate about cigar culture, customer service, and sales. You will play a key role in educating guests, driving retail sales, and upholding the elevated standards of the Dapper D's brand. Key Responsibilities * Greet guests and provide a welcoming, professional retail experience * Assist customers in selecting cigars based on preferences, strength, flavor, and occasion * Educate guests on cigar brands, blends, wrappers, and proper storage * Process retail transactions accurately using the POS system * Maintain organization, cleanliness, and presentation of the humidor and retail displays * Monitor humidor conditions and follow storage and handling standards * Replenish inventory and assist with receiving and merchandising products * Promote specials, memberships, and events when applicable * Ensure compliance with all tobacco sales laws, including age verification * Uphold Dapper D's brand image and guest service standards at all times Qualifications * Previous retail or sales experience preferred * Knowledge of cigars or strong interest in learning cigar culture (training provided) * Excellent communication and customer engagement skills * Professional appearance and demeanor * Ability to work evenings, weekends, and special events * Reliable, punctual, and sales-driven Why Join Dapper D's Cigars * Work within a premier cigar lifestyle brand * Hands-on education in cigars, pairings, and retail sales * Upscale, relaxed environment with loyal clientele * Opportunities for growth as the brand continues to expand Job Type: Part-time Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week Benefits: * Employee discount * Flexible schedule Application Question(s): * Are you willing to get your Certified Retail Tobacconist Certification?
