Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Sales Director to lead our sales efforts across multiple territories. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in outside sales, business development, and account management. The ideal candidate will drive revenue growth by developing and executing sales strategies, managing key client relationships, and leading a high-performing sales team. Overview: Traveling Music Lessons provides in-home music lessons with background-checked teachers across 12 major cities in the US, and is looking to expand into the Detroit market. As a Regional Sales Director (RSD), you will play a pivotal role in our organization by overseeing the recruitment of music teachers, managing the onboarding process, and driving student enrollment through effective sales and marketing strategies. Responsibilities: * Teacher Recruitment and Onboarding: * Identify and recruit talented music teachers through various channels. * Collect new hire paperwork and facilitate the onboarding process. * Conduct background checks and ensure compliance with company policies. * Register teachers in the Traveling Music Lessons Teacher Portal. * Sales and Marketing: * Utilize marketing apps and strategies to generate leads and inquiries from potential students. * Maintain an active presence on the marketing app, ensuring responsiveness to leads at all times, including weekends and evenings. * Engage with prospective students, understand their needs, and effectively sell them on our music lesson services. * Match students with appropriate teachers based on their preferences and needs. * Student Management: * Coordinate lesson scheduling and ensure accurate setup through our online systems. * Maintain detailed records and accounting information for each student-teacher pair. * Provide ongoing support to students and teachers to ensure a positive learning experience. Requirements: * Proven experience in sales, preferably in the education or music industry. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, to accommodate the needs of prospective students and teachers. * Experience in recruiting and onboarding personnel is a plus. * Passion for music education and a commitment to providing high-quality service.
