About Us: Reliant Finishing Systems engineers, manufactures, and installs equipment used for powder coating and industrial painting. We also produce large-scale ovens for industrial curing applications. Reliant products are used throughout North America by customers like Altec, Rawlings, and SpaceX. We've cultivated a demanding but informal environment where you're valued for what you contribute instead of how you dress. Job Purpose: Highly motivated individual wanted to sell manufacturing equipment over the phone to customers who need paint or powder coating equipment. Must be ethical, diligent, self-motivated, and money driven. Job Duties: * Excellent attendance and punctuality * Able to develop warm leads into successful business relationships * Continually develop knowledge and in-depth understanding of both the product and the business that you represent * Maintain a friendly and knowledgeable demeanor at all times * Maintain thorough and thoughtful notes on all customer interactions * Utilize CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software to track interactions with potential and existing customers * Diligently follow up via phone and email with customers * Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual goals based on reasonable and achievable standards * Meet with sales management team to constantly improve customer experience * Provide data or reports to the sales manager as requested * Perform administrative support and other duties as assigned Qualifications for Capital Equipment Salesperson at Reliant Finishing Systems: Required: * Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively, both over the phone and through email. * Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate and close deals, understanding the balance between meeting customer needs and achieving company revenue goals. * Relationship Building: Skill in cultivating and maintaining long-term relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs, and providing tailored solutions. * Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently, set and achieve sales targets, and proactively identify new business opportunities. * Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address customer challenges and provide innovative solutions. * Team Collaboration: Ability to collaborate with internal teams, including engineers and support staff, to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project implementation. * Time Management: Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks, manage a robust sales pipeline, and meet deadlines. * Customer-Centric Approach: A commitment to understanding and addressing customer needs, providing exceptional service, and building a positive customer experience. * Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing market conditions, customer requirements, and company goals. * Results-Oriented: A results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets and contributing to the overall growth of the organization. * Continuous Learning: Willingness to stay updated on industry advancements, product knowledge, and sales techniques to remain a top-performing sales professional. Not Required, But a Plus: * Sales Experience: Proven track record in capital equipment sales, with a focus on complex manufacturing or industrial solutions. * CRM Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in utilizing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to effectively manage and track sales leads, opportunities, and customer interactions. * Technical Acumen: Understanding of engineered capital equipment specifications and the ability to communicate technical details to potential clients. * Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the finishing systems industry, including an understanding of customer pain points, industry trends, and competitor landscapes.
