Full description of the position
Reports To: Director of Sales Full-Time, Exempt with 40+ hours / week Purpose of the Position: The Corporate Sales Manager is responsible for driving hotel revenue by developing and maintaining business relationships with individual, group, and corporate clients. This role involves creating and implementing sales strategies, managing client accounts, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction to achieve the hotel's revenue goals. Key Responsibilities * Develop and implement effective sales strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones, focusing on both short-term and long-term objectives. * Conduct market research to identify opportunities, understand competitive positioning, and adjust strategies accordingly. * Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals. * Conduct regular meetings with clients to understand their needs, present proposals, and negotiate contracts. * Create detailed and competitive proposals tailored to the needs of each client, covering room bookings, event spaces, catering, and other services. * Negotiate terms and conditions of sales contracts to ensure mutually beneficial agreements. * Work closely with other departments, including marketing, reservations, and front office, to ensure cohesive service delivery and client satisfaction. Skills and Qualifications: * Strong negotiation and sales skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities * Proficiency in sales software (Delphi) and PMS system * Analytical and strategic thinking * Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills * Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in hotel sales or related field, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets. Working Conditions: * Travel: Occasional travel may be required for client meetings and industry events. * Hours: Full-time position with flexibility for extended hours based on business needs.
