Outside Sales Representative, Asset Based Logistics and Brokerage (Relationship First) Podium is growing, and we are adding an experienced outside sales professional who wins the right way: by building trust, solving real problems, and taking care of customers and the team behind the scenes who makes it all happen. This is a long term seat for a professional who wants to build something meaningful, grow a territory, and be proud of how business is earned and retained. The role You will lead new customer growth and expand existing relationships by matching shipper needs with Podium's capabilities: * Flatbed transportation * Container drayage * Transloading and warehousing solutions * Brokerage capacity when it truly fits the customer need You are the face of Podium in the field, but you are never alone. Our operations and leadership teams partner closely to help you deliver an experience customers stay for. What you will do * Build a target account plan and execute it through outreach, networking, onsite visits, and referrals * Run discovery meetings and present solutions that reduce risk, improve service, and drive long term value * Negotiate and close profitable business with clear expectations for both the customer and our team * Own the relationship after the close, with a focus on retention and expansion, not one time wins * Coordinate closely with operations to launch accounts cleanly and fix issues fast when they happen * Use CRM consistently to manage pipeline, activity, and next steps What we are looking for * Multiple years of successful outside sales in logistics, transportation, or supply chain * A reputation for integrity, follow through, and customer care * The ability to open doors and earn meetings through credibility and relationships you have built over time * Strong understanding of one or more of the following: flatbed, drayage, port related freight, transload, brokerage * Professional communication and negotiation skills, from dock level conversations to executive meetings * Solid tenure with past employers and a desire to build a long term home * Comfortable working independently, planning your week, and traveling for customer meetings (mostly local and regional with occasional overnights) How we hire We hire for character and performance.
