Montgomery Automotive Group is looking for a General Sales Manager. The ideal candidate should have a strong knowledge of the automotive industry, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping customers. This position is for a high energy, high integrity individual that can develop a team in the variable department and wants to grow as a person and a leader.

Responsibilities

:

• Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve monthly and annual forecasts for the variable department. (New, Used, and Finance dept.)
• Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance.
• Track and analyze sales statistics.
• Hire, mentor, and monitor the performance of all sales and sales support areas.
• Maintain superior customer service (SSI) throughout the dealership.
• Assist sales/finance manager on closing deals, training staff, bank relationships, and daily processes.
• Manage the New and Used car inventory day supply.
• Pricing new and used vehicles daily based on market demand.
• Oversee all schedules including but not limited to Contract receivables, incentive schedules, RDR reporting, etc.
• Prepare reports for upper management.
• Develop and maintain a great working relationship with the manufacturer and their staff.

Qualifications

:

• Proven track record of successfully meeting and exceeding sales goals.
• Minimum high school diploma.
• Variable management experience including finance experience.
• An understanding of inventory control using established systems.
• Strong computer and phone skills
• Professional appearance and work ethic
• Current, valid driver's license Job Type: Full-time Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
