Job Title: Director of Sales Job Summary: Responsible for acquiring occupancy/census goals through marketing and sales activities such as telemarketing, tours, regular follow- up, developing referral sources, and maintaining a viable waiting list of applicants qualified to move to the community. Reports to and is supervised by the Executive Director. Responsibilities: -Accurately tracks all sales and marketing activity. Reports sales activity weekly/monthly to the Executive Director -Maintains an up-to-date accurate database for all prospects, professionals, and responsible parties (families) including follow-up procedures such as calls, emails, tours, etc. -Conducts tours of the community -Creates, maintains, and builds relationships with viable referral sources through visits, events both internal and external, and other means of communication. -Strives to achieve census goals (% Occupancy, Move-Ins, and Community Fees) -Responsible for the development and maintenance of the community marketing plan including events, advertising, social media, and the budget allocation for prospects and families as well as referral sources -Responsible for the development and maintenance of media and advertising list with contact information appropriate for the community -Attends all community marketing events and advertised activities where applicable -Performs other duties as assigned Experience: - Must possess sales ability -Must be familiar with Windows Operating Systems, MS Office, email software and internet browsers -Must have a high school diploma or equivalency (minimum of 2 years college degree preferred) -Must have two years of successful experience in sales and marketing -Must have the ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form -Must have strong customer service skills -Must be able to exert up to 25lbs of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects If you're a census driven Director of Sales looking for your next opportunity, we want to hear from you.
