Full description of the position

Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and innovative Sales Representative to join our high-performing team. In this role, you will use your creativity and technical expertise to develop and grow accounts by providing customized security solutions. You will work closely with national account managers, project management, and service teams to strategically drive sales, foster long-term relationships with clients, and ensure the successful delivery of solutions. A strong understanding of security systems, including access control, alarms, video surveillance, and network integration, will be a significant asset. Key Responsibilities: * Account Development: Think outside the box to identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities, while expanding and nurturing relationships with existing clients. * Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, retention, and growth. * Tailored Solutions: Collaborate with clients to assess their unique needs and design personalized security solutions that incorporate access control, alarm systems, video surveillance, and networking. * Sales Strategy Execution: Partner with national account managers and internal teams (project management, service, and technical) to develop and implement sales strategies that align with overall business goals and maximize revenue. * Product Expertise: Serve as the subject matter expert for our security systems and products, advising clients on technical specifications, system capabilities, integration, and best practices. * Consultative Sales Approach: Deliver engaging presentations, product demonstrations, and technical support to educate clients about the benefits of our solutions and guide them in making informed decisions. * Industry Insight: Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitors to identify new business opportunities and continuously improve sales tactics. * Project Lifecycle Support: Assist with proposal development, cost estimation, system design, and the transition of projects from initial concept through to successful implementation and post-installation support. Qualifications: * Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience. * Experience: Proven track record in sales engineering, technical sales, or solution selling, ideally in the security systems industry (access control, alarm systems, video surveillance, networking). * Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of security solutions, with experience in designing and integrating access control, alarm, video surveillance, and network systems. * Sales Acumen: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build relationships and close deals with clients at all levels. * Creativity & Problem-Solving: A creative thinker who thrives on finding innovative solutions to meet client needs and overcome challenges. * Collaborative Team Player: Strong ability to work cross-functionally with sales, project management, and service teams to deliver seamless, integrated solutions. * Travel: Ability to travel as needed to meet clients and support projects.
