Parts Counter Sales - Peterbilt of Omaha Brand-New Heavy-Duty Truck Dealership Opening in Early 2026 This position will train at our Peterbilt of Lincoln location. About Us Founded in 1954, Sioux City Truck Sales, Inc. has grown from a small Diamond-T Truck dealership into the exclusive Midwest Peterbilt Group (MPG) , a network of Peterbilt truck dealerships across Iowa and Nebraska. With locations including Sioux City, Des Moines, Council Bluffs, Norfolk, Lincoln, O'Neill and soon to be Omaha, as well as parts stores and collision centers, we offer premium trucks, parts, and service. And we provide educational opportunities through the Midwest Diesel Tech Academy (MDTA). What You 'll Do * Customer Assistance: Assist all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional and efficient manner. * Parts Sales: Inform all customers of companion part requirements and specials and ensure that the customer is exposed to the full product line. * Inventory Management: Notify Parts Manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention. Locate out-of-stock parts from outside source and submit an emergency order, if necessary. * Order Fulfillment: Pull and fill orders from stock. * Knowledge of Products: Keeps current on new products and product updates. * Records: Receive payment from retail customers or obtain credit authorization. Ensure that customers sign all charge sales. Ensure that all customers receive their copy of the invoice. What We 're Looking For * Education : High School Diploma or GED * Experience: Prior experience in parts sales, retail, or in the automotive/heavy-duty truck industry is preferred * Skills : * Intermediate to advanced computer skills with fundamental computer operations, spreadsheets, database, and e-mail * Effective communication skills * Ability to solve problems independently or as part of a team * Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions Why Join Midwest Peterbilt Group?
