Contract Sales Representative - Commercial Doors, Frames & Hardware (DFH) We 've partnered with a fast-growing national leader in commercial construction supply! About the Opportunity As a Contract Sales Representative, you'll spearhead the company's expansion into the booming Dallas, TX market. Your role will be to strengthen existing customer relationships, drive new business, manage bid processes, and ensure successful execution from estimate to closeout. You'll be supported by a national sales infrastructure, robust CRM and CPQ tools like Dynamics 365 and Comsense, and a performance-driven environment where effort and outcomes are rewarded. What You 'll Do * Manage and grow relationships with assigned accounts to maintain steady business. * Source new leads and develop strong relationships across your assigned territory. * Proactively identify bid opportunities and manage the take-off/estimating process. * Submit accurate, competitive bids aligned with customer needs and project timelines. * Close awarded jobs and manage project execution through clear communication and internal coordination. * Build trusted vendor partnerships to ensure pricing competitiveness and product availability. * Monitor project costs, margins, and billing to maintain profitability. * Visit job sites, attend meetings, and address issues to ensure satisfaction and smooth execution. * Mentor junior staff (estimators/detailers) and contribute to team development. * Stay current with code requirements, product knowledge, and trends via ongoing education (e.g., DHI certifications). * Collaborate on strategic planning and market growth initiatives. What We 're Looking For * 3-7+ years of experience in DFH sales or related commercial building materials. * Proven ability to manage complex project-based sales cycles from bid through closeout. * Experience using estimating/CRM platforms such as Comsense, NetSuite, or Dynamics 365. * Excellent communication, organizational, and negotiation skills. * Highly motivated, team-oriented, and customer-first mindset.
