Retail Sales Associate Company: Marigold's Mercantile Location: Omaha, NE Pay: $16.50 per hour Job Type: Full-time or Part-time Job Overview Marigold's Mercantile is hiring a Retail Sales Associate to support daily store operations. We are looking for someone who is friendly, dependable, and comfortable working directly with customers in a retail environment. Responsibilities * Greet and assist customers with excellent service * Operate the point-of-sale system accurately * Restock products and maintain store displays * Prepare gift boxes and seasonal bundles * Keep the store clean, organized, and welcoming * Receive and process inventory shipments * Open/close the store What We're Looking For * Friendly, dependable, and customer-focused * Detail-oriented with an eye for aesthetics * Comfortable using POS systems (Square experience a plus) * Strong communication and reliability * Interest in home goods, gifting, or small-batch/locally made products Optional Skills (Not Required) * Interest in social media, photography, or basic content creation Schedule * Part-time or full-time hours available * Weekend availability preferred * Shifts scheduled between store operating hours Compensation and Benefits * Starting pay of $16.50 per hour * Eligible for PTO based on hours and tenure * Opportunities to learn merchandising, small business operations, and digital marketing.
