Position: Chemical Sales & Service Representative Company: Service Plus USA Location: Flanders, New Jersey Territory: New Jersey, Eastern Pen nsylvania, and parts of New York Compensation: $60,000-70,000 based on experience and qualifications Schedule and Dispatch: Full-time position, primarily weekdays with flexibility based on customer needs. Dispatched from home to customer locations. Territory travel throughout NJ, Eastern PA, and parts of NY. Position Summary: The Chemical Sales & Service Representative is a fieldbased role responsible for chemical sales, installing, maintaining, and supporting chemical dispensing systems while working closely with customers to develop and support customized ware washing, laundry, and housekeeping programs to meet NJ Department of Health (DOH) standards. This position combines consultative sales with hands-on technical support, working closely with all departments within Service Plus to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term program success. Key Responsibilities: * Manage and grow a defined territory through scheduled service and sales visits. * Install, maintain, repair, and replace warewashing, laundry, and housekeeping dispensing equipment. * Perform scheduled preventative maintenance visits to verify proper operation of chemical systems. * Test chemicals and calibrate dispensing equipment to ensure consistent performance and results. * Consult with customers regarding DOH requirements and develop customized chemical programs to meet compliancy. * Respond to service calls and customer issues by identifying root causes and implementing solutions. * Recommend system improvements, upgrades, and process enhancements and efficiencies. * Work in conjunction with Service Plus management to maintain and expand strong customer relationships. * Position Service Plus as a one-stop partner for chemicals, equipment service, and parts support. * Learn and follow all Service Plus products, procedures, and safety standards. Key Outcomes: * Growth of chemical revenue and cross-selling of all Service Plus offerings. * Consistent customer satisfaction and chemical program performance at customer locations. * High customer retention through proactive service, training, and follow-up. * Strong adherence to safety, compliance, and documentation standards. Qualifications & Skills: * 2+ years of industry-related experience in B2B sales, route service, foodservice, janitorial/sanitation, and/or equipment service. * Working knowledge of industry standard chemicals & dispensing equipment. * Experience with ware washing programs and commercial kitchen environments/equipment. * Mechanical, plumbing, and basic electrical aptitude. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record. * Ability to lift and handle chemical packages and equipment. * Ability to work in commercial kitchens, dishrooms, and laundry areas. * Ability to wear required PPE and safely handle commercial chemicals. * OSHA and/or chemical safety knowledge.
