Role Summary DOAR, the nation's leading litigation strategy consulting firm, provides legal teams with strategic clarity, expert insight, and thoughtful perspectives to win complex, high-stakes matters. By bringing together the world's leading testifying experts, seasoned trial consulting experts, and research-based insights, we help our clients develop stronger cases that drive better outcomes. Our Expert Witness service helps legal teams secure the right consulting and testifying experts for complex disputes. We track litigation trends, identify and vet candidates, coordinate interviews, and assemble fit-for-purpose expert teams when a matter calls for multiple perspectives. Our goal is simple: give counsel confidence that they have the right experts ready at the right time, supported by clear preparation and smooth coordination. You are the trusted, consultative seller for all DOAR's services: Expert witness placement, jury consulting, and trial consulting. As an Account Executive, you are on the front line working with law firms and the lawyers that work there. You find and engage the right people, hold initial conversations, and turn genuine interest into clear next steps. You work in two lanes: outreach to named contacts at assigned firms and responding to inbound inquiries and public litigation signals such as new filings. You lead discovery meetings, diagnose needs, and shape clear proposals across expert consulting and testimony, jury research (for example theme testing and mock juries), story and theme development, courtroom graphics and presentation, and trial technology support. You deepen relationships across practices and matters, coordinate closely with the Expert, Jury, and Trial teams to deliver well scoped engagements that meet or exceed client expectations. Key Responsibilities * Manage relationships at assigned firms for the Expert, Jury, and Trial business units. * Build targeted outreach lists and connect with attorneys about Expert, Jury, and Trial needs. * Proactively identify and pursue high-value relationships and cases within assigned accounts. * Drive definable revenue growth through strategic, professional and high-level client outreach and relationship management. * Hold short first calls: set a simple agenda, ask a few thoughtful questions, understand timing and who decides, and propose next steps. * Lead discovery meetings: clarify the matter, stakes, timing, decision path, and which DOAR services fit; establish and execute clear next steps. * Scope and present proposals for all DOAR services, aligning pricing within defined guardrails and setting expectations with the client. * Respond quickly to inbound inquiries and public litigation signals and move them to meetings. * Present capabilities and prior experience credibly (expert witness placement, jury research, story and theme development, courtroom. graphics, and trial technology; facilitate group presentations). * Pursue net-new opportunities beyond current clients and active matters - target new attorneys at assigned firms. * Partner across DOAR to expand the company's presence and strengthen our reputation. * Keep HubSpot accurate: log contacts and activities (e.g., calls and meetings), log notes, upload documents, associate people with the correct firm and sub-deals, capture next steps and dates, and keep deal stages current so pipeline and forecasts are accurate. * Write clear, proofread emails and follow-ups that make it easy to say yes to a meeting. * Support DOAR events and campaigns, converting interest into meetings. * Respect existing relationships; involve the right colleagues at the right time. What Success Looks Like * Net-new revenue: a meaningful share of wins comes from both existing contacts and new contacts at assigned accounts. * Discovery conversations move to clear, well-scoped engagements with fewer resets and shorter sales cycle times. * Consistent, high-level client engagement representing DOAR in a professional and respected manner. * Assigned firm contacts introduce you to additional attorneys and practices; coverage broadens beyond the same contacts. * Clean HubSpot records with accurate pipeline information that enables leadership and colleagues to plan with confidence. * Seen both internally at DOAR and externally with clients as a consultative partner - credible, steady, and value-adding. Qualifications * 3-5 years in business development or sales for professional services or similar consultative offerings; legal services experience strongly preferred. * Strong writing and phone presence; comfortable with senior, time-pressed professionals. * Confident facilitator of client meetings and group presentations; comfortable coordinating multiple stakeholders. * Organized, steady, and collaborative. * Proficient HubSpot (or similar) to track outreach, meetings, and next steps; disciplined about entering activities, notes, next steps, and stages. * Professional, curious, consultative in approach, and coachable; treats the role as an advisor to the client, not a vendor. * Entrepreneurial mindset and growth-oriented - takes ownership, learns quickly, and scales what works. * Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends when client needs require it.
