Full description of the position

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and dynamic North America Director of Sales to lead our sales strategy and drive revenue growth across North America. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience in outside sales, and a proven track record in managing B2B sales operations. This role involves developing and executing strategies and initiatives for selling BOP's, controls systems, aftermarket parts and services. The North America Director of Sales will play a critical role in shaping our market presence through innovative marketing strategies and managing key accounts. Responsibilities * Grow sales across North America through negotiations, contract management, and account management to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. * Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies for BOP's, control systems, aftermarket parts and service to expand market share. * Drive business development efforts by identifying new market opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships, and expanding existing client relationships. * Collaborate with marketing teams to create targeted campaigns that support sales initiatives and brand positioning. * Utilize analysis skills to monitor sales metrics, forecast revenue, and identify areas for improvement. * Provide leadership in technical sales environments by understanding product specifications and translating technical features into customer benefits. * Foster a culture of customer service excellence across the sales organization to build long-term client relationships. * Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to promote brand visibility. Qualifications * Proven outside sales experience in the oil and gas equipment industry. * Direct experience with drilling contractors and their challenges. * Technical knowledge and experience with BOP's, control units and aftermarket parts. * Strong knowledge of marketing principles as they relate to driving sales growth. * Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to close complex deals effectively. * Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data for strategic decision-making. * Exceptional leadership qualities with proven success in motivating teams and fostering a customer-centric culture. * Strong communication skills coupled with customer service expertise to build lasting client relationships. * Experience with IADC, API, and AADE * Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus. * Willingness and availability to travel as needed. * This position offers an exciting opportunity for a strategic leader passionate about driving growth through innovative sales strategies and team leadership within a dynamic organization.
