Duties

of the Sales Consultant:

• Understands automobiles by studying characteristics, capabilities, and features; comparing competitive models; inspecting automobiles.
• Spend time with customers determining their needs and discussing vehicle options.
• Test drive vehicles to demonstrate automotive features.
• Demonstrates automobiles by explaining characteristics, capabilities, and features; taking drives; explaining warranties and services.
• Close sales by overcoming objections; asking for sales; negotiating price; completing sales or purchase contracts; explaining provisions; explaining and offering warranties, services, and financing; collect payment; delivers automobile.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
• Follow up with existing and potential customers to generate leads and close sales. Skills/
