Key Responsibilities * Consult clients to assess their financial needs and recommend appropriate mortgage products. * Explain loan options, terms, and application requirements clearly to clients. * Collect and review client documentation, including income statements, credit reports, and property information. * Assist clients in completing loan applications and ensure all paperwork is accurate and submitted on time. * Work with underwriters, processors, and other professionals to facilitate loan approval and closing. * Maintain knowledge of current lending regulations, market conditions, and company policies. * Develop and maintain relationships with real estate agents, builders, and other referral sources. * Provide ongoing support and communication to clients throughout the mortgage process. * Meet or exceed sales goals and performance metrics set by the organization. * Understand real estate appraisals, title reports and real estate transactions. * Process FHA and Fannie Mae mortgage applications. Qualifications * 2+ years' experience processing FHA loans. * Loan Origination Systems skills highly preferred (Calyx Point) * High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field preferred. * Previous experience in mortgage lending, banking, or financial services is highly desirable. * Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication and organizational skills. * Customer service experience. * Valid state licensing (if required).
