Sales Engineer - SaaS Fintech Embedded Finance and Financial Infrastructure Location: New York City NY USA Employment Type: Full time Office based or Hybrid depending on company policy Salary: $110,000 to $140,000 base OTE Bonus: $20,000 to $40,000 performance based bonus or commission uncapped where applicable About Us We are a high growth Fintech SaaS company building next generation embedded finance and financial infrastructure solutions that help businesses integrate financial services directly into their applications. Our platform powers corporate spend management embedded credit and financial workflows for enterprise and scale up customers across the US and globally. Role Overview As a Sales Engineer you will be the technical face of the company working closely with Sales Product and Engineering teams to guide customer engagements deliver compelling demonstrations and design tailored SaaS solutions for complex embedded finance and infrastructure use cases. You will use your deep technical knowledge and commercial insight to drive revenue growth and support our expansion in the US market. Key Responsibilities * Act as the technical lead for customer engagements throughout the sales cycle from qualification to deal close * Deliver high impact product demonstrations and proofs of concept tailored to customer needs in embedded finance spend management and financial infrastructure * Translate customer business requirements into technical architecture and solution designs * Support responses to RFIs RFPs and technical sections of proposals * Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to provide customer feedback and influence product roadmap priorities * Build and maintain reusable demo assets technical documentation and sales enablement materials * Maintain accurate CRM records and contribute to pipeline forecasting What You Will Bring * Approximately five years experience in a technical sales presales solutions engineering or similar SaaS role preferably within fintech embedded finance payments or financial services * Strong knowledge of SaaS architecture APIs cloud platforms and integration patterns * Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical stakeholders such as CTOs and business decision makers such as CFOs Heads of Operations * Confident presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate value for complex technical solutions * Comfortable managing multiple active opportunities and working cross functionally in a fast paced environment Nice to Have * Experience selling into technology companies banks or enterprise clients requiring embedded finance workflows * Familiarity with regulatory and compliance considerations relevant to integrated financial services * Experience supporting cloud security standards data privacy and risk assessments common in fintech procurement Compensation and Benefits * Competitive base salary of $110,000 to $140,000 depending on experience and skill set * Performance based bonus or commission of $20,000 to $40,000 plus with uncapped upside * 401k retirement plans healthcare and additional benefits * Equity or stock option opportunities depending on company stage * Clear career progression into Solutions Architect Sales Engineering Lead or GTM leadership roles
