We're expanding our Lumber & Building Materials presence, and we need a hands-on leader who's excited to shape strategy and hustle in the field to make it real. As our Lumber Sales Manager , you will be the face of our LBM business -- generating daily pipeline, deepening contractor trust, walking job sites, doing take-offs, attending association events, and driving profitable growth across the region. You won't inherit a playbook -- you'll help write it. * We 're looking for someone who: * Feels at home with contractors and builders * Believes in relentless outreach and reputation-building * Can translate a plan set into a winning quote * Loves the craft and community of the lumber business * Wants their work to have a visible impact every single day This is your opportunity to leave fingerprints on a business that 's growing *_fast!_ What You Will Own:_ * Build and maintain a 3-4x revenue pipeline through daily prospecting, windshield time, cold calls, and relationship-building. * Meet with contractors, builders, and homeowners to walk projects, review plans, and prepare accurate take-offs. * Represent the company at industry events, association meetings, and trade shows -- your presence in the community will matter. * Deliver quotes that are competitive, compelling, and aligned with margin guardrails and strategy. * Be the bridge between Sales & Operations -- ensuring inventory, delivery, and execution match what you're selling. * Bring real market feedback to leadership as we continue to shape product mix, pricing, and customer experience. Put simply: You'll be the CHAMPION of our LBM customers -- and the architect of how we serve them. Work Experience * 5+ years in lumber, building materials, or related construction sales * Strong estimating skills -- plan reading and take-offs required * A proven ability to build lasting, trust-first relationships * The drive to create daily pipeline vs. waiting for inbound * Comfortable representing the business in the field and at events * Organized, persistent, and optimistic * Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one within 90 days. * Valid driver's license with the ability to pass a motor vehicle record check. * Must be comfortable working in an animal-friendly environment (accommodations available upon request).
