ABOUT THE JOB Anytime Seltzers is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Sales to be our foundational Player-Coach and lead our sales efforts in the rapidly emerging cannabis beverage category. This is a crucial, ground-floor opportunity where you will partner directly with the CEO to define and build the sales function from scratch. The ideal candidate will set the sales strategies and must be willing to conduct direct sales activities initially to establish effective sales approaches and get a feel for the market. You will not only lead and mentor a multi-state team of 6+ representatives but also be responsible for creating the essential framework, including sales policies, KPIs, training materials, and reporting standards. We're looking for a strategic leader with a proven track record in the beverage/beer industry who is eager to be at the forefront of building a high-performing organization from the ground up. AT ANYTIME, YOU 'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR Sales Strategy & Execution * Pioneer Sales Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to maximize market share, brand presence, and revenue in all active territories (Midwest + East Coast). * Performance Metrics: Establish, track, and manage clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and sales goals for the entire sales organization, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. * Market Growth & Analysis: Articulate the vision for building and growing this emerging category. Take the initiative to thoroughly assess current market performance, identify new opportunities, and adapt strategies quickly to market feedback. * Distributor Management: Work closely with existing distributors, leveraging the foundation built over the past few months, to optimize inventory, drive pull-through sales, and ensure effective placement. * Travel : Required to travel to other markets (including the East Coast and Midwest) to support the sales team, manage key accounts, and strengthen distributor relationships. Team Leadership & Development * Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives located across various markets. * Recruitment & Training: Develop and implement effective training programs and materials, including specialized training for the VIP CRM system, to ensure the sales team is proficient, knowledgeable, and performing at a high level. * Culture & Accountability: Foster a high-performance, accountable sales culture focused on achieving ambitious sales targets and professional development. Operations & Reporting * CRM Management: Serve as the primary owner and trainer for the VIP CRM platform, ensuring consistent and accurate data entry, pipeline management, and sales reporting. * Executive Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with founders on strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting on sales performance. THIS ROLE REQUIRES * Experience: 5-8 years of progressive sales leadership experience, preferably within the beverage, beer, or alcohol distribution industry. * Location: Must be based in the Omaha, Nebraska area and be able to work in an on-site or hybrid capacity (warehouse and remote). * Category Experience: Direct experience in the cannabis industry or a highly regulated consumer packaged goods (CPG) sector is a significant plus. * Skills: Exceptional analytical, leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills. Must be a self-starter with the initiative to grow and build something from the ground up. * Technical: Proficiency with sales reporting tools and a strong working knowledge of the VIP CRM platform is ideal.
