Sales Representative / Business Development Consultant Part-Time (16 Hours/Week) Chosen One Movers LLC We are seeking a motivated, experienced Sales Representative / Business Development Consultant to help grow our residential and commercial moving business. This is a hybrid role responsible for closing leads, generating new business, and representing our company professionally in the field and over the phone. Key Responsibilities (Most Important Duties) 1. Lead Follow-Up & Closing * Follow up with warm leads from the office, outreach, and online inquiries * Make outbound calls to cold and warm prospects * Confidently explain services, pricing, and moving options * Close residential and commercial moving jobs * Request deposits and confirm bookings 2. New Business Prospecting * Visit new businesses, apartment communities, realtors, and storage facilities * Generate new leads independently (not just what outreach provides) * Build and maintain referral relationships * Represent the brand professionally in the community 3. On-Site Estimates * Conduct in-home or on-location walkthroughs for customers when needed * Gather job details, identify special items, assess access points, and document notes * Provide accurate information back to the office to finalize pricing (or present quotes directly, depending on job type) 4. Customer Communication * Provide clear, professional communication with all prospects * Answer questions about services, policies, and job expectations * Maintain accurate notes and follow-up schedules within the CRM 5. Field & Office Coordination * Work with the office team to ensure proper scheduling and job details * Attend in-person meetings with referral partners or prospects * Travel locally for business development (mileage reimbursed) Requirements * 1 -2+ years of sales experience REQUIRED * Experience in service-based or outside sales strongly preferred * Confident communicator and strong closer * Comfortable with cold calling and cold outreach * Professional appearance and reliable transportation * Available Tuesday through Thursday (specific days assigned weekly based on business needs) Compensation * Competitive hourly pay * Commission on booked jobs * Performance bonuses * Mileage reimbursement for approved business travel Work Schedule This is a part-time sales and business development position working 16 hours per week (two full workdays between Tuesday and Thursday), with the possibility of transitioning into a full-time role based on proven sales performance and overall job success. The specific workdays may vary weekly based on business needs, lead volume, and scheduled appointments. * High-volume weeks: Typically Tuesday + Wednesday * Standard weeks: Typically Wednesday + Thursday To ensure consistency and allow flexibility for employees with other jobs, the schedule for the upcoming week will be confirmed by Friday. Employees must be available on any two days between Tuesday -Thursday, as assigned or approved.
