Optical Sales Associate: The secret ingredient success at River City Vision Center are associates who are highly energetic, fun, friendly, personable, and great communicators! Responsibilities: * Warmly greeting patients and visitors whether in person or on the telephone. * Interpreting prescriptions written by ophthalmologists and optometrists. * Helping clients select eyewear and lens treatments for their glasses. * Filing insurances for glasses and contacts and exams * Creating work orders for lab technicians to ensure delivery of the proper lenses. * Adjusting eyeglasses to ensure a proper fit * Repairing broken frames * Educating clients on proper eyeglass and contact lens care * Keeping track of orders, prescriptions, and inventory * Assisting anywhere the practice needs help Qualifications: * 2 years of Optical experience is preferred * Computer skills * Positive attitude * Multi-tasking * Telephone Skills * Time Management * Attention to Detail * Professionalism Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: From $18.00 per hour Benefits: * Paid time off Education: * High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: * Sales: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: In person
