Duties * Assist customers in selecting electrical supplies, tools, and accessories by providing detailed product information and demonstrations * Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities to maximize sales * Maintain an organized and attractive merchandise display, ensuring products are well-stocked and properly labeled * Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for transactions including cash handling, credit card processing, and returns * Provide excellent customer service by answering questions with professionalism and courtesy, utilizing strong phone etiquette when assisting remote inquiries * Support inventory management through stocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and communicating low inventory levels to management * Promote store promotions and upselling techniques to enhance sales performance while ensuring customer satisfaction Qualifications * Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a grocery store or hardware environment with familiarity in merchandising and stocking practices * Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills in a retail setting is a plus * Strong communication skills with bilingual abilities preferred to serve diverse customer needs effectively * Proficiency with POS systems, basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations, and familiarity with cashiering procedures * Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to create positive shopping experiences * Knowledge of electrical products or willingness to learn about technical specifications and applications * Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail * Experience with receiving and/or in a warehouse setting Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Work Location: In person
