Position Overview This sales position is responsible for promoting industrial/construction related products and services to a broad range of clients - from general contractors, developers, to construction. Position combines industry knowledge, technical proficiency, and provides solutions tailored to each client's unique project requirements. Strong networking abilities, and a passion for exceeding sale targets in a competitive market. Key Responsibilities * Proactively prospect, identify, and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial, industrial, and residential construction sectors. * Utilize market research, cold calling, and a pipeline of prospective clients. * Manage and conduct client meetings, presentations, and site visits to better understand project needs. * Manage knowledge of Industry trends, competitor activities, pricing structures, and emerging technologies. * Provide feedback and recommendations to enhance strategic planning and product development. * Prepare regular sales forecasts and market analysis. * Collaborate with customers to deliver customized proposals. * Develop and execute sales strategies for construction products, targeting key accounts. * Participate in industry conferences and trade shows to showcase product portfolio and technologies. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in business, Construction Management, or equivalent industry experience will be considered. * Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience, ideally in the construction materials or concrete industry. * Strong understanding of concrete products and construction. * Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications is a strong asset. * Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. * Organizational skills, and attention to detail. * Capable of managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. * Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. * Travel locally and regionally to client sites, and industry events. * Certification: Professional certifications such as Certified Construction Sales Professional (CCSP) are desirable but not mandatory.
