Our next team member will be a dynamic Outside Sales Representative hired to both build and expand a territory in Missouri. Responsibilities
: -Direct experience working in field sales - minimum of 3 years -Ideal candidate will have direct business to business sales experience with a proven track record of success. -Experience in the building materials sector - residential, commercial, wholesale supplier, or construction background is preferred -Skilled in generating proposals, penetrating existing and new business and closing sales -Ability to work both remotely and occasionally in our Foristell, MO/STL office -Regional travel, minimal overnight trips -Preferred experience in at least (2)two of the following areas: distribution, building materials, architecture, construction management, job site planning, project implementation and/or operations experience in a similar organization -Must have at least (4) four of the following technical skills: ERP systems, CRM, MS Office suite - Excel focused, estimation software, forecasting, analytics & reporting tools -Self-starter able to develop, implement and sustain business development -Proven record of establishing strategic relationships with new and existing customers -Ability to push and drive for results with a high level of commitment to follow up and follow through -Ability to read and interpret blueprints, a plus -Skilled in managing multiple proposals in tandem -Superior communication skills (both written and verbal) are required -Integrate into our positive team culture -Plan, implement, and manage timelines and goals with our internal support team -Natural problem solver, a helper with a creative and inquisitive mindset -Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills - a proven relationship builder -Willingness to be flexible - adapting to new paths What we have to offer: -Quality products -Strong, existing portfolio and sales team -A culture you can be proud of, a family oriented culture -Base salary + competitive commission structure -Generous monthly auto allowance -All digital tools provided to set the salesperson up for success -Mentoring, coaching, and sales development program -
